Merry Christmas, everybody. With Saddam Hussein's capture, we've finally bagged one of the most notorious men on the run from America. Now, we only need to find bin Laden and the Hamburgler.
My sincere hope is that, with Hussein in custody, troops in Iraq will be safer, and less prone to attack. I have a nagging suspicion that won't be the case. Please, let me be wrong.
North Texas has one of the highest quotients of film and fantasy geeks in America. So, tell me why the hell there isn't an extended version marathon of the first two Lord of the Rings films playing anywhere in this area Tuesday, as there are in 19 other areas of the country. They're not even showing the extended version of 'The Two Towers' this week. Bastards!
The day after tickets for the special screenings went on sale, the only one that didn't sell out was Miami. I was so tempted to buy tickets for that show, but the last time I drove to Miami, I didn't sleep right for a month.
Pointed comment to "Me": you're right. I went back and checked the transcript. Take whatever time you need, and know that I'm wishing you well.
There's always the stop off in Tampa. But then who will watch Bailey?
